Congressman Womack Files for Re-Election

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - U.S. Representative Steve Womack (R) today released the below statement after filing to run for re-election in the Third Congressional District of Arkansas at the State Capitol in Little Rock:  

“It has been my honor to serve the hardworking people of the Third District and bring their voices of reason and liberty to Congress. My commitment to our shared conservative values and building a better future is unwavering. I look forward to continuing our work to support a prosperous economy, lower taxes, a strong military, and the freedom-loving spirit that built America. I’m deeply honored by the trust our community has continually placed in me and will never stop fighting for the Third District.”
 
Congressman Womack, who is the Ranking Member of the House Budget Committee and serves on the House Appropriations Committee, is seeking his sixth term. Prior to his election to Congress, he served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for more than thirty years. Steve and his wife, Terri, have been married for more than 35 years. They have three sons, three grandsons, and a dog named Cooper.
