About Steve:
U.S. Representative Steve Womack was elected to represent Arkansas’s Third Congressional District in 2010. He is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee, where he serves as Chairman of the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Subcommittee and sits on the Defense and the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittees. He is also the former Chairman of the House Budget Committee.
Prior to his election to Congress, Representative Womack served as the Mayor of Rogers, Arkansas, for twelve years and in the Arkansas Army National Guard for over thirty years, retiring at the rank of Colonel.
Representative Womack lives in Rogers. He is the father to three sons and grandfather to several grandchildren.
