ROGERS, Ark. – Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after casting his 2026 general election ballot:
Congressman Womack said, “This year, voters will choose between two fundamentally different paths for our country. I was proud to cast my ballot for the leaders in Arkansas who represent the path toward prosperity, underpinned by the policies that strengthen our economy, expand opportunity, and help more families achieve the American Dream. These are the pro-growth principles I believe in and will continue to champion. I am deeply grateful for the trust the people of Arkansas's Third Congressional District have placed in me, and I look forward to earning that trust once again so I can continue serving them in Washington.”
Congressman Womack serves as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD). He formerly served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and Chairman of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittee on Appropriations. Womack is also the Chairman of the West Point Board of Visitors (BOV), where he supports the U.S. Military Academy. Before Congress, Womack served as Mayor of Rogers. He's a retired Colonel in the Arkansas Army National Guard with thirty years of service in uniform.
