Steve Womack Seeks Reelection to Congress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
May 20, 2025

ROGERS, Ark. – Steve Womack today released the below statement on his intent to run for reelection in the Third Congressional District of Arkansas.

Womack said, "I’m running for reelection in Congress because I believe now, more than ever, our country needs strong, principled leadership. With President Trump back in the White House, we have a monumental opportunity to get our fiscal house in order, enact a pro-growth agenda, and pass on a stronger, safer America to future generations. Representing my friends and neighbors in Congress has been the honor of my life, and I'm well positioned to fight for the Third District and for Arkansas values in Washington.”

Womack serves as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development (THUD). He formerly served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and Chairman of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittee on Appropriations. Womack is also the Chairman of the West Point Board of Visitors (BOV), where he supports the U.S. Military Academy. Before Congress, Womack served as Mayor of Rogers. He's a retired Colonel in the Arkansas Army National Guard with thirty years of service in uniform.
