November 5, 2025
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the below statement after filing to run for reelection in the Third Congressional District of Arkansas at the State Capitol in Little Rock:
Congressman Womack said, “Today, I officially filed for reelection to the U.S. House of Representatives. Serving Arkansas’s Third District in Congress has been the greatest honor of my lifetime. Throughout my tenure, I’ve worked tirelessly to advance a pro-growth, pro-jobs, and pro-family agenda that strengthens our communities and benefits every constituent. As I seek reelection, I recognize the serious challenges our nation faces from emerging global threats to a ballooning national debt and the ongoing impact of inflation. I remain committed to tackling these issues head-on and delivering results that benefit Third District Arkansans. I am deeply grateful for the trust and support of my constituents, and I look forward to the opportunity to continue serving them in Washington."
Congressman Womack serves as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD). He formerly served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and Chairman of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittee on Appropriations. Womack is also the Chairman of the West Point Board of Visitors (BOV), where he supports the U.S. Military Academy. Before Congress, Womack served as Mayor of Rogers. He's a retired Colonel in the Arkansas Army National Guard with thirty years of service in uniform.
