Congressman Womack Secures GOP Primary Nomination

Rogers, Ark.—Congressman Steve Womack (AR-3) today released the following statement after winning the Arkansas Third Congressional District Republican primary nomination:

Congressman Womack said, “Serving the people of Arkansas’s Third District in Congress has been the honor of my life, and I am extremely proud to once again receive the support and trust of Republican voters across my district. Over the past year, I have been focused on delivering historic tax relief and critical investment for my constituents, but there is still work to do to forge a stronger and more prosperous Third District. I look forward to the general election in November and the continued opportunity to serve Third District Arkansans from Bella Vista to Greenwood to Gentry to Green Forest and more.” 

Congressman Womack serves as the Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies (THUD). He formerly served as Chairman of the House Budget Committee and Chairman of the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Subcommittee on Appropriations. Womack is also the Chairman of the West Point Board of Visitors (BOV), where he supports the U.S. Military Academy. Before Congress, Womack served as Mayor of Rogers. He's a retired Colonel in the Arkansas Army National Guard with thirty years of service in uniform.
